Abstract: As coaches, we are able to understand the impact that emotions have on how our clients see the world and (in turn) how they choose to act. Indeed, when coaching one-on-one, a coach may well opt to develop the emotional line of a client in order to give them a broader set of lenses to tap into within their work and life.
How then, can we extend this same lens to organizational development?
This interactive workshop will set us forth on a path to exploring emotional culture. Using Integral Agile and Integral Coaching to support our understanding, participants will engage in activities and practices to help them coach emotional line development at an organizational level.
Learning Outcomes: - The interactive workshop will offer:
- 1. Brief overview of Integral Agile with a focus on Organizational Culture and Relationships Quadrant (LL) & Levels (Conformist - Amber, Achievement - Orange, Pluralistic - Green, Evolutionary - Teal)
- 2. Working interactively and in groups, participants will embody and better understand the emotional cultural baseline available at each Level.
- 3. Digging deeper, we'll surface the "language" of specific emotions (e.g. Anger, Fear, Joy) and then translate this into the emotional culture of each Level.
- 4. Lastly, we'll work collectively to surface approaches to developing the emotional culture for each Level.
